“WON’T BE LONG” FOLLOWS #1 HIT FROM APPALACHIAN ROAD SHOW’S UPCOMING JANUARY 2026 RELEASE

High-energy single written by Cahalen Morrison arrives today; features Victor Furtado of the Sam Grisman Experience

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 21, 2026) — Bluegrass innovators Appalachian Road Show ignite excitement for their forthcoming January 2026 project with the release of their electrifying new single, “Won’t Be Long,” available November 21st (today) on radio and all digital platforms.
Written by acclaimed songwriter Cahalen Morrison, “Won’t Be Long” is a crooked, traditionally-charged, and rhythmically fearless slice of Appalachian fire — a track that perfectly sets the tone for what’s ahead for the band’s next era, and is the follow up to their #1 hit at radio “Della Jane’s Heart.”
Intensifying the energy is guest musician Victor Furtado of the Sam Grisman Experience, whose sly, masterful clawhammer banjo parts inject an unexpected edge into the band’s powerful arrangement.
Band co-founder Jim VanCleve says, “‘Won’t be Long’ is a crooked and wicked little tune that has undercurrents of ‘Appalachian-Nasty’ running rampant throughout! Victor Furtado, of the Sam Grisman Experience, lent his sneaky clawhammer banjo expertise to the recipe, and we just love the finished product! Here’s an existential truth: No matter what … It WON’T be long.”
Billy Blue Records A&R/Creative Director Jerry Salley adds, “‘Won’t Be Long’ has that ‘Entertainers of the Year’ type of high energy that only a few bands can deliver. A hard driving, dynamic and spirited performance that Appalachian Road Show has become known for. Darrell Webb’s enthusiastic, melodic lead vocal is infectious. Crank up this latest offering from one of bluegrass music’s premier bands and enjoy.”
With its blistering instrumentation, signature authenticity, and undeniable spirit, “Won’t Be Long” is the perfect preview for Appalachian Road Show’s upcoming January 2026 release Della Jane’s Heart — a project poised to further cement their standing as one of the most dynamic and compelling bands in modern bluegrass.
The band has been deemed by Bluegrass Today as “one of today’s most interesting acts in bluegrass,” with NPR’s “All Things Considered,” American Songwriter, No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, WMOT, and other venerable outlets echoing the praise.
