About LIZZYG

LIZZYG is a seasoned Christian Country and Southern Gospel Music Recording Artist from Branson, MO. with very deep southern roots. She started playing guitar and singing at the tender age of 6. Inspired by so many Gospel Greats such as The Blackwood Brothers, Dottie Rambo, The Happy Goodman's to name a few. She set out on a Gospel musical quest of her own many years ago. She joined "The Voices of Praise" when she was 11 years old as a guitarist and soon became the alto singer & Bass guitarist for the band. By age of 18, she and  "The Voices of Praise" from Chicago, IL won 1st Place in the WYCA Radio Talent Contest hosted by nonother than Southern Gospel Music Promoter, Les Butler of WYCA Radio of Griffith, Indiana. LizzyG and "The Voices of Praise" went on and opened for The Original Hinsons from Hendersonville, TN in 1983. LizzyG has shared the stage with many great & famous Gospel artists such as The Original Hinsons, Gold City Quartet, The Lester's, The Paynes, The Spencers, The Singing Americans, and Heaven Bound.

LizzyG has worked with artists such as Angela Hesse, Michael Lusk, and as of recent, she has shared the stage with the Award Winning Nelons who is frequently seen on ""The Gaither Homecoming Shows"" She has also shared the stage with the famous Singing Cookes, The Cooke Brothers, and Kevin and Tammy Spencer.
 
LizzyG was nominated in the top 10 for the ""Chicago Independent Artist of The Year"" Award! She also received the ""Entertainer of The Year Award"" Crimson Award from SSE Promotions in 2016!!! In 2017, she was nominated in Christian Voice Magazine for ""Favorite Female Vocalist of the Year"" she was also nominated in the top 10 for ""Favorite Video of The Year"" for her song ""American Heroes"" all for 2017. LizzyG was named “Favorite Female Vocalist of The Year” in Christian Voice Magazine in 2017. LizzyG was been nominated for the following categories for LCGMA Fan Awards 2020 Female Soloist of The Year,  Favorite Song of The Year “Gotta Lot To Do” written by Jeff Napier, and Video of The Year Award “American Heroes” written by William D. Creech & Fawn Jacobs. LizzyG was a 2023 DOVE Award Nominee for ""Something To Write Home About.""
 
LizzyG is a National Radio Charting Artist with her current single at radio ""Something to Write Home About"" and is #76 on Southern Gospel Top 100 Charts in the December 2022 issue of Cashbox Magazine. ""Find Jesus Now"" charted at #2 on the Top 100 Country Christian Chart with Christian Voice Magazine.  ""Gotta Lot To Do"" made it to #8 on the Christian Music Weekly Chart, and on the Top 100 charts Country Christian Charts with Christian Voice Magazine, it remained on the radio charts there for 8 consecutive weeks. This particular single charted at #67 on the Cash Box Magazine Charts, It made it to #5 twice in The Christian Voice Magazine.
 
As of recent, her latest single to radio ""Something To Write Home About"" charted at #1 on the Weekly charts of WOTG Radio & TV Networks for the months of October & November 2019.
