Soulchase members vary greatly in musical background. Sean (bass) was the original bass player for The Newsboys and hence has the most international experience in the band. Lorissa (keys) commenced her music career in the sacred scene and toured large churches around Australia and played in large televised events. Nick, Steve and Dejan came from secular rock and metal backgrounds, supporting bands including Motley Crue, Alice Cooper and Joe Satriani, prior to growing into the sacred scene.  The meshing of styles has resulted in an authentic flavour of 80s melodic pop/rock overlaid with overt Christian lyrics.  We plain haven’t heard anyone we think they sound like yet!
