Jason Cole was born and raised in the great state of Alabama. He began writing lyrics in his early teens, and learned to play guitar in his early 20's. Finally armed with the ability to transform lyric and melody into original song, he has gone on to write dozens of tunes over the years. Jason's music has been featured on several radio stations around the world including Gateway 97.8 FM in South Essex, England. In 2024, he scored two #1 hits on the coveted HUGS Radio Top 200 Unsigned Artists Music Chart. One of those songs, "Squared Up, Headlong, And Gettin' Gone", won the award for HUGS Radio's Record Of The Year. Jason's song "The Yellow Circle Of Light" was also nominated for Song Of The Year at the 2025 Josie Music Awards. Other highlights this year include having his song "Heartfelt" submitted to the Recording Academy for Grammy consideration, and serving as a judge and presenter at the 2025 ISSA Awards. Having also received multiple licensing and publishing deals for many of his original songs, Jason continues to write and record music, and is a current active member of the International Singer Songwriters Association. He recently won the award for ISSA Male Songwriter Of The Year at the 2024 ISSA Awards in Atlanta, Georgia.
