Amos Raber continues his run at the top of the RadioMusicDJ Hot Top 100 as “Alaska” holds the No. 1 position for a second consecutive week on the chart for the week ending September 18, 2026.
The independent artist is enjoying an especially strong run at radio, with three songs currently appearing on the RadioMusicDJ Hot Top 100. In addition to “Alaska” at No. 1, “By Grace” sits at No. 27, while “Mansion Over The Hilltop (Feat Jeff Easter)” is at No. 43.
“Alaska,” performed by Amos & Margaret Raber with Conrad Fisher, was co-written by Raber and Fisher. The song also has an outstanding official music video that brings the Alaska theme to life with beautiful scenery and imagery from the Last Frontier.
Raber has plenty of company near the top of this week's chart. Caroline Owens is at No. 2 with “Old Time Church (Feat The Isaacs),” Steve Douglas holds No. 3 with “Thank God For Heaven,” and Tyson Leamon is at No. 4 with “Holy Ghost Road.”

In 2019, open-heart surgery led Charles to step back from the day-to-day demands of the music business and eventually into retirement. But retirement hasn't meant giving up the creative side of life. He continues to write songs, contribute to RadioMusicDJ from time to time, and share his thoughts on music and the industry he has been a part of for so many years.
More recently, Charles discovered another creative outlet through art. These days, you're just as likely to find him drawing quirky birds and other whimsical characters in Tiny Perch Studio as you are to find him talking about a new song or what's happening at radio.
For Charles, the tools may have changed over the years—from songs and radio to pen and paper—but creating something that makes people listen, think or smile is still very much a part of who he is.
