Charles Brady is the founder of RadioMusicDJ, which first launched as Radioactive Airplay in 2006. With a lifelong love of music, Charles has spent decades writing songs and working with artists, record labels and radio while helping connect new music with broadcasters.

In 2019, open-heart surgery led Charles to step back from the day-to-day demands of the music business and eventually into retirement. But retirement hasn't meant giving up the creative side of life. He continues to write songs, contribute to RadioMusicDJ from time to time, and share his thoughts on music and the industry he has been a part of for so many years.

More recently, Charles discovered another creative outlet through art. These days, you're just as likely to find him drawing quirky birds and other whimsical characters in Tiny Perch Studio as you are to find him talking about a new song or what's happening at radio.

For Charles, the tools may have changed over the years—from songs and radio to pen and paper—but creating something that makes people listen, think or smile is still very much a part of who he is.
