About Dawson Road

Dawson Road

What do you get when you put two preachers and a deacon together?  You get a trio who likes good country music, loves God, has great harmony, and who have a musical feel like something you might hear from Brooks & Dunn.  You will also get some great family friendly entertainment with a positive message for your soul.  Dawson Road is made up of Kevin Woolard, pastor of Grifton Free Will Baptist Church in Grifton, North Carolina; Daniel Albritton, Deacon at Grifton Free Will Baptist Church; and John Hill, Pastor of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church in Farmville, North Carolina.  Though churches and their love of music brought them together, their backgrounds, work and hobbies cover a wide range of interests.  Kevin has a background in law enforcement as a Sergeant in the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department in Washington, NC.  Daniel is a Building Contractor, who also enjoys making furniture and woodcrafts in his home woodworking shop.  John is the President/CEO of the Free Will Baptist Press and works with Missions.  He is also an avid scuba diver and instructor, traveling all over the world.

These three men have some funny and some deep stories to share, no pun intended for our scuba diver, John.  They have a rich country blend and have picked some great songs for their album "Mile 2." This is their first Nashville Christian Country release, but every song on the album could be a single cut.  If you like pure country, kickin' songs, with family friendly lyrics that leave you clapping and wanting more, you will enjoy this first-time release from trio Dawson Road.
